Community Facilities
In high density and regeneration schemes, the value of the housing development itself can be a catalyst that makes community facilities possible.
Metropolitan Development Services works closely with MHP's Regeneration and Community Development Teams, as well as local residents, to develop community facilities appropriate to local needs and fundraise to secure the facilities' immediate and longer-term viability.
A wide range of facilities have been provided, including:
- premises for community groups
- start-up business premises
- doctors' surgeries
- residents' halls
- sports and educational buildings
- parks and gardens
- facilities for the elderly
