Eco Schemes
Metropolitan Development Services (MDS) and MHP's Sustainability Team work together to ensure that all of our projects meet the required environmental standards and deliver real savings to our residents.
The Technical Team, together with MHP's Sustainability Team, have undertaken extensive customer research with residents, maintenance and housing management, to monitor energy usage and to evaluate new technologies as they are used by residents in their homes.
Research into the practical use of new technologies and the varying levels of energy consumption in our residents' homes allows us to make informed choices about which technologies and passive design elements to include in future schemes.
This work will help to make sure that there is a reduction in home energy use, helping residents to achieve lower utility bills without compromising comfort or the financial viability of the scheme.
